Get to Know Us
Our organization, based in Naco, Sonora near the U.S.–Mexico border, is dedicated to improving community well-being through sustainable access to clean water and nutritious food. We install water filtration systems in local elementary schools and distribute filtered drinking water throughout the surrounding community. In addition, we collaborate with the local DIF (Desarrollo Integral de la Familia) to provide healthy food to families on weekends who might otherwise lack reliable access to nutritious meals.
Just this week!

This past Saturday and Sunday, we provided over 220 meals to the most vulnerable families in our community, featuring traditional dishes packed with nutritious vegetables, rice, and beans.
Serving a Mexican vegetable soup on Saturday, a cold soup packed full of vegetables to help refresh our community in the heat of June.
Serving Molletas on Sunday, a bread topped with refried beans and a sprinkle of cheese on top with a side of Mexican rice.
Each meal averages a cost of 80 cents per plate as we aim to provide nutritious, vegetarian options while being mindful of planet.

Every Friday our team collects all 30 of our seven-gallon jugs, to wash, sanitize, and refill with clean filtered water to redistribute for to our families in the community to use for the week.We explain to each of our families they should use this water to drink, wash their vegetables, brush their teeth, and many other basic needs. It is critical they use this instead of the community water to avoid major health problems. Every week we distribute well over 1,700 pounds of filtered water.
